Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 2026-06-25 · How subscription cancellations, trial refunds, and billing disputes are handled.
Free trial
New subscribers get a 30-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial. You can cancel any time before the trial ends and you will not be billed.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. There is no early-termination fee.
Refunds after billing
Because Bachao is a digital safety service delivered continuously, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for the current billing period once it has started. If you were charged after cancelling, or believe you were charged in error, email support@bachao.app within 7 days and we will investigate and refund verified errors within 7–10 business days.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we retry per Razorpay's standard schedule and enter a 3-day grace period. You keep access during the grace period. If payment still fails, the subscription is suspended — your data is preserved and you can resume anytime by updating your payment method.
Refund method
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Razorpay. Bank processing times may add 5–7 business days after we initiate the refund.
