Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-06-25 · What Bachao collects, why, how it is protected, and how to control it.
What we collect
Account info (name, phone, email, DOB), safety profile (blood group, allergies, medical conditions, trusted locations), emergency contacts you add, device info, location during active safety sessions, audio/video/images captured during emergencies, and incident reports you file.
Why we collect it
To alert your emergency contacts, share live location during an SOS, preserve evidence for incident review, and improve detection of distress signals. We never sell personal data.
Storage & protection
Data is stored in Lovable Cloud with encryption at rest and in transit. Evidence files live in private, signed-URL buckets. Row-Level Security ensures only you (and people you explicitly authorize) can read your records.
Sharing
Live location and incident timeline are shared with contacts you select, and (if you enable it) with nearby community responders. Shareable tracking links expire when the incident is resolved.
AI processing
Audio/text classification for distress detection runs on Lovable AI. We do not use your safety data to train third-party models.
Your controls
Export your data, revoke any consent, delete your account, and view active monitoring in the Transparency Center. Some records may be retained when required by law or to protect an open incident.
Children
Bachao is not directed at children under 13. Minors require a verified guardian account — see the Child Safety Policy.
